Ruşen Keleş

Ruşen Keleş was born in Trabzon in 1932. He graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Political Sciences and Faculty of Law. He became an associate professor in 1965 and a professor in 1971. He served as Dean of the Faculty of Political Sciences for two terms (1971-1975). He worked as a researcher and guest lecturer at various universities in the USA and Japan. He gave lectures on urbanisation, local governments, urban politics, environment and housing policies at Ankara University, METU, TODAİE, Bilkent University and Eastern Mediterranean University. He still continues his lectures and academic studies as a retired faculty member at Faculty of Political Science, Ankara University. He has many books and articles published in various languages.
