Casimir Legrand
Climate Politics, Intelligence, and Diplomacy Manager, C40
Casimir serves as Climate Politics, Intelligence and Diplomacy Manager at C40 Cities. In this role, he helps drive C40’s advocacy and diplomatic engagement in key multilateral processes, such as the COP process, the Paris Agreement, and the G20 through the Urban 20 programme. He has worked with the UNFCCC, the COP Presidency, and the UN Secretary-General’s Office to ensure strong city participation in the UN Climate Ambition Summit, as well as COP28. Prior to joining C40, Casimir worked at the Multilateral Organization Performance Assessment Network at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in Paris, France, where he assisted member states in assessing the efficacy of multilateral organisations providing humanitarian assistance and aid. Casimir holds joint Master’s degrees in International Security and International Relations from Sciences Po’s Paris School of International Affairs and the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), respectively.
