Melik Külekci

Melik Külekçi graduated from the Department of Turkish Language and Literature at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Atatürk University. After graduation, he moved to Istanbul, where he worked as a news cameraman for several national television channels.

 He documented the journey of writer Alberto Manguel through Türkiye in 2013. After years of archiving and editing, he completed the film and produced the documentary “Manguel’s Journey Through Turkey: In the Footsteps of Tanpınar.” The documentary was selected for screening in the National Documentary Film Competition at the 32nd Adana Golden Boll Film Festival.
