Laden Yurttagüler

Laden Yurttagüler completed her undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral studies at Boğaziçi University.

From 2005 to 2023, she worked as the coordinator at the Civil Society Studies Center of Istanbul Bilgi University, where she led research, training, and methodology development projects aimed at rights-based civil society organizations. She also played an active role in the design and implementation of programs that strengthened the advocacy capacities of NGOs. In addition, she taught undergraduate and graduate courses at the university on civil society, participation, advocacy and policy influence, gender equality, and youth policies.

She has been involved in national and international projects in the fields of human rights education, youth policies and participation, gender equality, and social rights. Currently, Yurttagüler focuses her work on strengthening participatory democracy processes and mechanisms, as well as enhancing individuals’ active participation in policy-making processes.
