Kerem Yavuz Arslanlı

Yavuz Arslanlı is a faculty member in the Department of Urban and Regional Planning at Istanbul Technical University (ITU). From 2002 to 2012, he worked at the ITU Urban and Environmental Planning and Research Center.
His doctoral research, titled “A Spatial Autoregressive Housing Price Index Model for the Istanbul Metropolitan Region,” earned him the AREUEA 2009 Doctoral Fellowship. In 2010, he conducted academic research at the International Economics Institute of the University of Alicante, and in 2011 at the Finance Department of Cass Business School. After completing his PhD, Arslanlı began teaching courses such as “Real Estate Finance and Investment” and “Real Estate Modeling and Forecasting” in the Real Estate Development Master’s Program at ITU.
Arslanlı has published numerous academic articles in national and international journals and has presented papers at many international conferences. He is a board member of the European Real Estate Society (ERES) and served as the president of ERES, one of Europe’s leading organizations for real estate research and education, during 2016–2017.
