This is the first step on the MARUF journey. Participants will learn about various topics of interest and engage in an intellectual exploration by listening to different perspectives and experiences. This mode provides the opportunity to analyze, compare, and discover the new ways of thinking.

This essence yet inspiring talks begin just before the circles of possibility for professionals who create creative and inclusive solutions and drive change in urban areas.

Short sessions for listening where speakers briefly share their knowledge, experience and vision on a specific topic.

Exploration of urban practices that create a positive impact on local, regional or global scales.

Presentations by expert speakers reminding us of our fundamental rights regarding the city.

Discussions around a table for experts to scrutinize theories, strategies, or potential solutions in a specific field.

Brief presentations on good practices, PhD dissertations, initiatives and projects that produce solutions to urban challenges.

PhD Showcase: PhD candidates who have passed the preliminary evaluation and are eligible to make a presentation compete by presenting their theses briefly and concisely in front of a jury.
Good Practice Showcase: Practitioners who have passed the preliminary evaluation and are entitled to make a presentation briefly and concisely present their applications implemented by local governments or in cooperation with local governments.
Start-up Showcase: Start-ups who have passed the preliminary evaluation and are entitled to make a presentation briefly and concisely present their innovative and creative works.
Project Showcase: Representatives of project teams who have passed the preliminary evaluation and are entitled to make a presentation, briefly and concisely present their projects.
