İlkay Dellal
Prof., Head of the Department of Climate Change and Sustainability, Ankara University
Prof. İlkay Dellal, completed her undergraduate, master, and Ph.D studies at Ankara University, Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Agricultural Economics. She conducted post-doctoral study on climate change-agriculture relations and economic impact of climate change on Turkish agriculture at Texas A&M University, United States of America. She has published numerous articles, papers, book chapters, participated in projects, presented her work at national and international meetings, and worked as a trainer in training of trainers’ programs on the relationship between climate change and agriculture, impact, adaptation and mitigation of greenhouse gas emission from agriculture. Since 2009, she has been teaching "Economics of Climate Change" at the doctoral level. In 2005, he was promoted to Associate Professor and in 2011 to Professor. She is currently working at Ankara University, Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Agricultural Economics, Head of the Department of Agricultural Policy and Extension and Head of the Department of Climate Change and Sustainability, which was established in 2023.
