Istanbul's Bazaar Quarters are home to one of the world's largest open-air commercial centers, featuring the planet's largest covered market known as the Grand Bazaar. This bustling district boasts over 4,000 shops, offering a wide range of items from antiques, silver, silk products, and calligraphy to old watches, handmade carpets, and an extensive variety of handicrafts.
On this walking route, participants will embark on a journey filled with discoveries in pursuit of Istanbul's hidden crafts in the Grand Bazaar Hans area. Along with the stories of the Grand Bazaar, Hans, and Bedestens, they will trace the development of trade life in Istanbul from the Ottoman era to the present day. The route guides will take the participants beyond the typical tourist attractions and show the participants the true heart of this historic place.
Notes:
All participants must be in front of the Istanbul Congress Center at 13:30 with their tour tickets.
The route will start in front of the Istanbul Congress Center.
The starting point of the route will be reached by walking.
